Tucked along Peace Valley Lane in the heart of Missouri's wine country, Oakglenn is a working vineyard and winery — no tour buses, no crowds, just honest wine made the slow way.
Every bottle starts with a decision to wait.
Our 20-plus acres sit on the rolling bluffs above the Missouri River, where the soil is rich loess and the breeze carries off the water. That combination — rare in this part of the world — gives our grapes a long, steady ripening season.
We don't chase yields. We chase balance. Each varietal is planted where it thrives best, hand-tended through the growing season, and harvested at the exact moment the fruit tells us it's ready. The result is wine that tastes like this place — grounded, patient, and unmistakably Missouri.
"The best vineyards aren't made. They're grown."
From the vine to the glass — no shortcuts
Every varietal is grown on our hillsides, fermented in our cellar, and bottled here at Oakglenn. What you taste is exactly what grows here.
Cabernet Sauvignon
StructuredBold blackberry and dark cherry with notes of cedar and tobacco. Aged 14 months in French oak for a velvety finish that lingers.
Merlot
ApproachablePlush plum and ripe fig with a soft, rounded mouthfeel. A touch of vanilla from oak aging makes this our most crowd-pleasing red.
Riesling
CrispBright citrus and green apple with a hint of petrol — the hallmark of a well-aged Riesling from our slope vineyards. Refreshing and precise.
Chardonnay
ButteryRipe pear and toasted almond with a creamy texture from barrel fermentation. Subtle oak adds complexity without overwhelming the fruit.
Blush
LightStrawberry and watermelon with a crisp, dry finish. Our most refreshing pour — perfect for warm afternoons on the terrace.
Port
RichFortified and deeply concentrated — dark chocolate, blackberry compote, and a warming finish. Aged 5 years in barrel. Our reserve pour.
Come for the wine. Stay for the quiet.
